Genuine Frigidaire / Electrolux Replacement Part

This air filter (part number EAFCBF) fits some Electrolux upright freezers and bottom-freezer and side-by-side refrigerators. Also fits some Frigidaire and Kenmore 253-series bottom-freezer and side-by-side refrigerators.

Air filter removes odors and impurities from the air inside the refrigerator.  It does this by using media impregnated with activated charcoal (aka Carbon), an extremely porous material with an extremely high surface area-to-volume ratio, which traps and eliminates odor-causing compounds.

Replace the filter every 6 months or sooner if refrigerator odors become noticeable.
